Anti-corruption compliance monitoring
GIACC provides anti-corruption compliance monitoring services.
Compliance monitoring provides independent verification on an on-going basis that:
- an organisation’s anti-corruption programme is consistent with international best practice; and
- the organisation is effectively implementing this programme.
Compliance monitoring may be required:
- as a voluntary act by an organisation to provide independent on-going verification of its anti-corruption compliance; or
- as a condition under a no-prosecution agreement or similar arrangement in which an organisation is required to appoint an independent compliance monitor as a condition of a reduced or avoided criminal or administrative penalty.
For information on how GIACC can assist, contact GIACC.
For further information on corruption and advice on corruption prevention, see the GIACC Resource Centre (index on left of page).
